Sustainable cropping for ecological cocoa plantations
The PACTS partners have more than 20 years of experience in sustainable development and share their expertise with the Ivorian farmers via the transmission of good farming practices.
The main objective of PACTS is to increase harvest yields without increasing plantation areas. This will ensure a better future for the cocoa network, whilst preserving the ecosystem. This can only be done by restoring the existing farming areas.
To exchange farming knowledge, our teams use restored plots to teach good farming practices. The three key words are: selection, re-densification and maintenance.
